I attended art school at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. I graduated  with a degree in communications design and immediately relocated to Virginia where I launched a communications design firm in Alexandria.

 

My professional experience has been on the commercial side; branding, identity and creative work for national organizations, institutions and nonprofits. I have always loved the craft required in a business that has now become largely digital.
 

Several years ago, I took up painting for the first time in three decades. My work is an exploration of the intensity of color and texture not possible through digital means, as well as an interpretation of places and faces. Thank you for looking.
